
CYPOP, January 2009
Inspired by the Make Fair, CYPOP is becoming one of Vancouver's annual techno-arts events that show cases the work of artists who bend the boundaries of science, technology, art and culture. Over 300 people attended our first event, invited artists Luke Blackstone, Steve DiPaola, Jim Bizzocchi and Jay Bundy Johnson to exhibit work and give short presentations about the genesis of there work. Vicki Moulder is an artist, designer, and researcher studying at School of Interactive Arts and Technology, SFU, Surrey, CA. The primary focus of her work explores creative collaborations at the intersection of technology and cultural production. She is interested in the design of semantic technologies from a cultural perspective.
INTERACTION ART.ORG is a site that presents her current research, collaborative design and public art projects and information about CYPOP an event dedicated to the work of artists, designers, technologists and social activist working together to build sustainable futures.
