Currently, I'm either teaching, assisting, or researching courses at the School of Interactive Arts + Technology, SFU. The program curriculum is interdisciplinary and future-focused encouraging technologists, artists, designers, and theorists to work in collaborative research and immerse study.



IAT431 Speculative Design, Spring 2009

IAT222 Interactive Arts, Spring 2008
Worked with Instructor Niranjan Rajah to research course content and teach labs (200 students). This 2-yr level university course guides students through the creative process of developing an interactive art project and introduces concepts related to the practice of media art in general. Responsibilities included: developing course material, liaison with Instructor, other teaching assistants and students, writing instructional material, maintaining WebCT and Class Wiki, marking student's work, and presenting a lecture on Community-Art.

IAT333 Interaction Design Praxis: Practice and Methods, Spring 2008
Worked with Instructor Ron Wakkary to assist in teaching labs (100 students). This 3-yr level course examines concepts of design practice and related design methods for interaction designers. Responsibilities include: liaison with Instructor, other teaching assistants and students, maintaining WebCT, and marking student's work.

IAT334 Interface Design, Fall 2007
Worked with Instructor Ron Wakkary, to research course content and teach labs (100 students). This 3-yr level course guides students through interface design practices. Responsibilities included: the research of course material, liaison with Instructor, and students, writing instructional material and maintaining WebCT, marking student's work, and producing instructional workshops for labs and presenting a lecture on Social Design.
