    Social Design Network's mission is to inspire social activism through design. We connect people who want to explore ways design can positively impact our many worlds, and who want to create change here, now.

  • Global Action Foundation (GAF) www.go-act.org
    GAF is a United States 501c3 non-profit organization, funds initiatives that alleviate global poverty. A group of young professionals incorporated GAF in June 2006 to help eradicate extreme poverty and improve human development.

  • TED www.ted.com
    TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. This site makes the best talks and performances from TED available to the public, for free.

    This network exists as an ongoing open space for international dialogue on the Art of Engagement. It is experimental, co-created and free.

  • Community Cultural Development (CCD) www.ccd.net
    Community development principles are a useful starting point for understanding ccd, however, ccd is more than community development + art. It is a unique practice that works creatively with communities on their own ground, on their own issues, through cultural practice.
